“Live-Blogging” from Scotch on the Rocks 2008 1

Posted by Neil on June 01, 2008

In case you’ve had your head under a stone for the last six months, you should be aware that the Scotch on the Rocks conference kicks off on Wednesday.  Tickets are still available, and if you can go, you should.

If however, you’re one of the unfortunates who work for a stingy boss there’s a couple of things you can do:

1) Resign, and go anyway
2) Catch the news from the conference on-line (definitely the worst of the two options)

To cater for those of you who can’t make it, I will be attempting to cover as much of the conference here on my blog, especially any of the key news items that might pop-up in the sessions.  During the keynote, however I will be attempting to go one step further and give “live-blogging” a go.  Basically, this will involve a panel being available on this blog which you can keep open and watch as I type stuff in in a similar way to the macrumours.com coverage of the apple keynotes.  You will also be able to reply and ask questions that I will then see if I can pass on.

So, check back here at around 9.30am GMT+1 on Wednesday, and we’ll see how it goes.

If anyone else is planning on covering the event on their blogs, can I suggest that they comment here and I can provide a list of places people can check for news.
