Similar to Lynda, I highly recommend the training videos from Total Training. I've used their solutions to ramp up my team.

Neil,

I suggest these two DVD's:
http://www.cvision.co.uk/cd/adobe-flex2-tt.htm
http://www.cvision.co.uk/cd/adobe-flex2-advanced-visual-programming-tt.htm

And I've just got a mail from O'Reilly http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/9780596550035

So for £200 You'll have all you need to get up to speed in 20 hours :-)

I don't know the skill level that your devs are at now but I'd suggest the Lynda.com Flex videos for a quick immersion. You don't want to pay consultants the big bucks to teach the basics. Get past that and then bring someone in who can get them over the hump, so to speak.
